I am a mother, believer, unapologetic ally, wife, an avid reader, pediatric pharmacist, Xavier University of Louisiana alumni, lifelong learner, volunteer, and lover of rainbows & sequins.

The vision for Mama’s Village came to me during the pandemic after struggling to find access to safe childcare for my daughter, Evangeline. I tried many websites and reached out to everyone I knew, but I was unsuccessful in finding a sitter.

I hope that Mama’s Village provides moms & caregivers with a “village” to help them care for their precious children and family members.

I believe moms deserve to go out for brunch with friends, go out on dates with their partners, go to Beyonce and Taylor Swift concerts, get their nails done without their children, and ultimately have access to high-quality, safe childcare when they need it.

Mama’s Village is the place to help you find your village. We aim to normalize requesting and receiving help. We know first-hand how hard it is to find a sitter who looks like you, aligns with your & your family’s values, and understands the unique needs of your family.

Our mission is to help alleviate the stress of finding safe, high-quality caregivers for your child. We work with you to find a sitter that aligns with your needs. Our sitters are all reference-checked, fully vetted, and are interviewed by our team.
